A lifelong fan of scripted comedy, Tristram Baumber created and wrote the 2014 ABC TV comedy TIMOTHY, starring Stephen Curry and Denise Scott. Quail TV and NBC London are currently developing TIMOTHY for an international audience.
In 2013 Tristram produced Season 1 of his short-form sitcom THE CLEANISTS, successfully crowd-funding and releasing Season 2 in 2014. He was also part of the writing team for ABC1’s 2013 topical comedy WEDNESDAY NIGHT FEVER. His short comedy plays have been performed across Australia, New Zealand and India. Tristram was also selected as part of the Screen Australia Enterprise People placement initiative with Aquarius Films is their In-House Writer, and wrote episodes on their TV series BORN TO SPY and THE UNLISTED.
Tristram’s latest TV series as Co Creator/Writer/Executive Producer is THE PM’S DAUGHTER, which recently aired on ABC TV and produced by Fremantle Australia, and the 2nd series is now in production.
In development, Tristram has FUTURE BOY with Ian Collie at Easy Tiger Productions; his feature film THE ASSISTANT and is a writer on the TV series MOTHER AND SON for Wooden Horse and ABC TV that will premiere in 2023.
