Jessica Arthur is a theatre director and co-founder The Anchor theatre company. She is currently Sydney Theatre Company’s Directing Associate.
Some of Jessica’s recent productions include TWO HEARTS (King Cross Theatre), THE WOLVES (Old Fitz), LETHAL INDIFFERENCE (STC), REALISM (NIDA), INTOXICATION (La Mama Courthouse) and UNEND (Never Never Theatre Company) which went on to play at the Adelaide and Sydney Fringe Festivals.
Jessica has also worked as Assistant Director on THE HARP IN THE SOUTH Part I and Part II, DINNER, CHIMERICA and ENDGAME for Sydney Theatre Company, as well as MISS JULIE for the Melbourne Theatre Company.
Jess was also involved in the judging for the Martin Lysicrates Prize for Griffin Theatre at the National Theatre of Parramatta.
2019 will see Jess continue on her exciting journey with a remount of THE WOLVES for Belvoir Theatre, as well as directing productions MOSQUITOES by Lucy Kirkwood and BANGING DENMARK by Van Badham for Sydney Theatre Company.
