Romina is an AWGIE nominated screenwriter and script editor who has most recently completed work on Season 1 of ABC’s new half-hour drama THE HEIGHTS, of which she was a core member of the writing team.
Romina started her career on HOME AND AWAY where she worked as a Script Editor, Associate Script Producer, and Associate Story Producer. Her other screen credits include NEIGHBOURS, HERE COME THE HABIBS, and LOVE CHILD.
Romina studied screenwriting at The University of Texas in Austin where she completed the feature length screenplay SOMEWHERE OVER THE… which was a quarterfinalist in the international BlueCat Screenplay competition, 2012. In 2013, Romina co-wrote the stage play SET – A Whodunit Soap Opera, which ran for several weeks at NIDA’s Parade Theatre.
Romina is a dedicated writer with a great passion for telling character driven stories and in 2018 her original concept POSITIVE – a half-hour comedy/drama about a woman living with HIV – was accepted into the Create NSW/ABC Half-hour Drama Development Initiative.
