ABC and Screen Australia have announced the production of DEADLOCK, a teenage-focused ABC iview series set in and around Byron Bay, will begin on the north coast of NSW in July with writer/director Billie Pleffer at the helm. Based on an original concept from Deb Cox, and developed with Billie Pleffer, with additional workshop collaboration from SKINS creator Brian Elsley, DEADLOCK crashes though the incredible highs, heartbreak, camaraderie, laughs and bittersweet sorrow of what it is to be a teenager.
