Alice Englert is an actress, writer and director. Alice wrote, directed and composed the music on her first short film, THE BOYFRIEND GAME which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2015. The film screened at Berlin International Film Festival in the Short Films Generation Kplus category, Melbourne International Film Festival 2016, Flickerfest 2017 and won Best Screenplay at St Kilda Film Festival 2017.

Alice wrote and directed her second short film, FAMILY HAPPINESS, which premiered at Sydney Film Festival 2017, screened at BFI London Film Festival 2017, Melbourne International Film Festival 2017 and St Kilda Film Festival 2018.

Alice wrote, directed and composed on her original debut feature film, BAD BEHAVIOUR, which shot in New Zealand in 2022 and has its world premiere as part of World Cinema Dramatic Competition at Sundance Film Festival 2023. The film stars Jennifer Connolly, Ben Wishaw, Dasha Nekrasova and Alice Englert.   Alice is developing a feature with Third Born Films in Australia and is currently casting her second original feature to shoot in the UK  with producers Molly Hallam and Helen Gladders.
