HLA Management is thrilled to announce representation of writer Louise Fox.
Louise is an award-winning writer whose career has traversed television, film, theatre and radio.
She is the co-creator and showrunner of the ABC and Netflix drama series GLITCH which was awarded Best Drama at the 2015 AACTA Awards, Most Outstanding Drama at 2016 Logies and NYT times Top Ten best international shows of 2016. The series enjoyed three seasons on the ABC and was subsequently picked up by Netflix.
Most recently for television, she wrote on the drama series PROSPER for Lingo Pictures and STAN; and SIGNIFICANT OTHERS for the ABC and Fremantle. In 2013 Louise wrote an episode of the critically-acclaimed and BAFTA-winning UK drama BROADCHURCH, as well as THE KETTERING INCIDENT for Porchlight Films. The latter series won the AACTA for Best Television Drama Series and Screen Producers Award for Best Miniseries. Louise was a core member of the writing team for LOVE MY WAY and wrote on all 3 seasons for Foxtel and Southern Star. In 2004, she won the AWGIE Award for Best Screenplay for Episode 8 in the first series. Louise also spent two years working with Lucas Film on the STAR WARS live action television series and wrote several episodes and was a writer and consultant producer on CAMELOT (Starz).
Louise wrote the feature screenplay DEAD EUROPE, adapted from the novel by Christos Tsiolkas and directed by Tony Krawitz. The film premiered in competition at the 2012 Sydney Film Festival, and the screenplay won both the NSW Premier’s Award and the Queensland Literary Award in 2013.
Louise spent two years in house at Matchbox/NBCU as a development producer. She has projects in development with SBS, Stan, Channel 4, Synchronicity (Scotland), Easy Tiger (Aus), Motive Pictures (UK), Moonage (UK), See Saw, and Tony Ayres Productions.
For theatre, Louise’s original and adaptations include THE TRIAL (2010 – Malthouse, Perth, STC) TARTUFFE (2008 Malthouse) ELIZABETH; Almost by Chance a Woman (2010, Malthouse, QTC) THIS LITTLE PIGGY (2005, STC) and THE BIRDS (2025, Malthouse Theatre).
