Peter has been working extensively within the film and commercial world for the past seven years. He began cutting at boutique editorial company The Butchery in Melbourne in 2007 and was a major part of its growth and success over the next 5 years.
In 2011 Peter’s first feature film HAIL, directed by Amiel Courtin-Wilson, was selected to play in competition at the Venice International Film Festival, the first Australian feature to be selected in over 10 years, HAIL also received The Age Critics award at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2012.
In the same year, the short film MEATHEAD, directed by Sam Holst, gained selection in the Cannes Film Festival, and was also awarded the Crystal Bear for Best Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival.
In 2013 Peter provided additional editing on Amiel Courtin-Wilson and Michael Cody’s feature film RUIN, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and was awarded the Special Orizzonti Jury Prize.
Peter has recently completed work on David Michod’s film THE ROVER, starring Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce, due to be released in 2014.
