Ella is an Australian-British writer and script editor with a background in scripted TV development who is currently in-house as Staff Writer on NCIS: Sydney (CBS, Paramount +), pulling in 6+million viewers per episode in the US alone.
Ella’s award winning short film THE EXIT PLAN, starring Paapa Essiedu and Marcia Warren played internationally at Bafta and Oscar qualifying festivals, and she currently has projects in development in the UK with The Development Partnership, and Relish Content. In 2022 she was selected as a finalist in the AACTA x Monster Pictures Pitch Competition for her horror feature concept SPECIMEN, and is currently developing her debut feature – the feminist revenge thriller OBEDIENCE.
Prior to NCIS: Sydney, Ella spent four years in TV and Film development at London based production company, The Development Partnership originating and developing projects in house.
