HLA would like to congratulate Brendan Cowell, Jodie Fried, Tony McNamara, Emily Seresin and Keith Thompson for being nominated for this year’s Australian Film Institute Awards.

Brendan Cowell received a nomination for Best Lead Actor for his role in Matthew Saville’s NOISE.

Jodie Fried (ROMULUS MY FATHER) and Emily Seresin (CLUBLAND) have both been nominated for Best Costume Design.

For the Best Screenplay in Television category, Tony McNamara is nominated for his episode of LOVE MY WAY: CARS WITH NO BRAKES as is Keith Thompson for his episode of the children’s series LOCKIE LEONARD: THE LADDER OF LOVE.

CLUBLAND written by Keith Thompson received a total of eleven AFI nominations including the Macquarie Private Wealth Award for Best Screenplay category.
