Congratulations to our clients Ian David, Tony McNamara, Keith Thompson and Katherine Thomson for winning 2007 Australian Writers’ Guild Awards.

Ian David was awarded the $25,000 Kit Denton Fellowship for courage and excellence in performance writing which will be used to develop a 13-part television series that will shine a new light on the legal profession. 

Tony McNamara won the Television Series section with his episode COLD BLOODED CREATURES (episode 2) from the third series of LOVE MY WAY.

Keith Thompson’s CLUBLAND won the 2007 Major AWGIE Award for Outstanding Australian Script of the Year as well as sharing the Feature Film Original category with Tony Ayre’s THE HOME SONG STORIES.

Katherine Thomson was awarded her seventh AWGIE Award in the Telemovie (Original) category for her script BLACKJACK: AT THE GATES.
